AHRC Catalyst Awards help researchers without prior experience leading major projects become independent research leaders. You must be based at a UK research organisation that can receive AHRC funding. There is no set limit on grant value, but typical awards range from £100,000 to £300,000. The funding helps you build leadership skills and gain experience running research projects. You can use the money to accelerate your research career and unlock your potential as an independent researcher. The deadline is 31 March 2027. This is specifically for arts and humanities researchers who have not led significant research projects before.
