Who We Are

Grant Match ("we", "us", "our") operates the website grantmatch.co.uk. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

What We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and password (managed by our authentication provider, Clerk).
• Profile data: business sectors and UK regions you select during onboarding.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and device information collected via standard server logs.
• Payment data: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Analytics and advertising identifiers: cookies and similar identifiers set by Google Analytics and, on the pages that carry ads, by Google and other advertising partners.

How We Use Your Data

• To match grants to your sector and location.
• To send email notifications about new matching grants (if you opt in).
• To process subscription payments.
• To improve our service and fix bugs.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Grant Match:

• Clerk: authentication
• Stripe: payment processing
• AWS: hosting and database
• Resend: transactional email delivery
• Google Analytics: how the site is used
• Google AdSense: advertising on the pages listed under Advertising below

Data Retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also object to processing or request data portability. Contact us at hello@grantmatch.co.uk to exercise these rights.

Cookies

We use three kinds of cookie:

• Essential: needed to sign you in and keep you signed in. The site does not work without these.
• Analytics: Google Analytics, so we can see which pages are used and where people arrive from.
• Advertising: set by Google and other advertising partners on the pages that carry ads. See Advertising below.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop you signing in.

Advertising

Some pages carry advertising. Grant listings, sector, region and organisation type pages, and blog posts show ads. Our homepage, pricing page and your signed-in dashboard do not.

We use Google AdSense. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site or other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits here and elsewhere on the internet.

We do not share your name, email address or organisation profile with advertisers.
