AHRC responsive mode: Curiosity Award (Grant)

The AHRC Curiosity Award funds fundamental research in arts and humanities. You can use the money for research that leads to new ideas and networking activities. There is no upper limit on grant amounts, though £100,000 is given as an example. The funding helps develop new research opportunities and agendas. You can apply for any amount that fits your research needs. The deadline is 31 March 2027. This is flexible funding for early-stage research ideas. The grant supports idea generation and exploration of new research directions.

Flexible awards to fund fundamental research that leads to new research agendas, networking activity and idea generation, which enables the development of further research opportunities and new research agendas.  There is no limit on the value of the grant, the value specified within the summary page is an example.
