ARIA offers up to £4 million per project to develop brain interfaces that work without surgery. The funding targets three areas: systems that read brain signals, wireless devices that stimulate deep brain regions, and closed-loop systems that automatically adjust brain activity. Projects run for 3 years initially, with potential 2-year extensions. Teams can include universities, hospitals, startups, and established companies. You can be based in the UK or abroad. Applications close on 17 March 2026.
