Community groups and organisations that local people trust can apply for up to £5,000 per project, and projects can run for up to two years. Applicants first submit an expression of interest describing their idea; the council's Sport and Physical Activity team reviews it and may invite a full application, which then goes to the local Better Health Partnership and finally to Sport England for approval.
