This fund helps researchers turn bioscience research into real-world benefits for society and the economy. You can get up to £3 million to bridge the gap between your research and practical applications. You must be based at a UK research organisation that can receive BBSRC funding. Your application must build substantially on current or previous BBSRC funding you have received.

This fund is for researchers at UK universities and research institutes who have received BBSRC funding before. You need to show how your bioscience research can create economic or social benefits. It is not for new researchers or those without previous BBSRC funding connections.
