Claremont, Weaste and Seedley Budget Group Grants

Salford City Council offers grants for community projects in Claremont, Weaste and Seedley areas. The funding supports projects helping children and young people, tackling crime, improving the environment, supporting older people, and bringing communities together. Local applications that benefit residents in these three areas get priority. However, projects across Salford city may also be considered. The grant does not pay for room hire, refreshments, or permanent staff salaries. You cannot use the money for costs you have already paid, except in special cases.

This grant is for community groups and organisations running projects that help residents in Claremont, Weaste or Seedley areas of Salford. Projects across the wider Salford area may also apply but local projects get priority. You should not apply if you need money for room hire, refreshments, or permanent staff wages.

Funding for community benefit projects addressing priority issues including children and young people, crime and disorder, environmental improvements, older people, and community cohesion. Does not fund room hire, refreshments, permanent staff salaries or retrospective expenditure except in exceptional circumstances.
