The Department for Transport is offering up to £121 million for innovative clean maritime technologies. This is strand 3 of the competition, focusing on pre-deployment trials. Individual projects can get between £375,000 and £4.74 million. You must be a UK registered organisation to apply. The funding supports testing and trialling clean maritime technologies before full deployment. Applications close on 15 July 2026. This is part of a wider competition with three different strands. The money comes from the Department for Transport's budget for clean transport innovation.
