This six-month programme supports small businesses developing new solutions to cut carbon emissions in the maritime sector. Up to six companies will be selected. Each selected business gets tailored commercial support and can apply for up to £30,000 to run a four-month trial with industry partners. The deadline to apply is 28 July 2026.

- Must be an SME
- Technology must be at TRL 5 to 8
- Must be developing solutions for maritime decarbonisation
This is for small and medium-sized businesses in England working on innovative ways to reduce carbon emissions in the maritime industry. Your technology should be at a mid-to-advanced development stage, known as TRL 5 to 8. This means your solution works in a lab or real-world setting but is not yet fully commercial.

The Clean Transport Accelerator: Maritime is a six-month programme supporting SMEs developing innovative solutions for maritime decarbonisation. Up to six TRL 5–8 companies will receive tailored commercial support and apply for up to £30k to run a four‑month trial with partners.
Apply through Innovate UK Business Connect before 28 July 2026. Up to six businesses will be selected to join the programme. Selected businesses can then apply for up to £30,000 to fund a four-month trial.
