Overview

The Community Legacy Fund offers grants between £500 and £10,000 for non-profit groups near motorways and major roads. You must be close to a National Highways road and have been impacted by their roadworks or diversions. Your project must help with economic prosperity, improving the environment, community wellbeing, or equality and inclusion. The National Highways Community Legacy Fund is open to all non-profit groups or organisations who are geographically close to motorways and major roads (that are maintained by National Highways) and have been impacted by our roadworks or diversion routes. The Fund welcomes a wide range of proposals, offering grants between £500 and £10,000. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate that their project or initiative is located close to a National Highways road, has been impacted by our roadworks and meets at least one of the following criteria; Economic prosperity, Improving the environment, Community wellbeing, Equality, diversity, and inclusion. The aim of the Fund is to leave a positive legacy to the communities impacted by our work.
