The Depot Charging Scheme helps businesses install charging points for electric trucks, vans and coaches at their depots. The government will pay 70% of the costs for chargepoints and installation work. You can get up to £1 million across all your sites. The first application window opens on 25 March 2026 and closes on 30 June 2026. The funding might run out before the deadline if lots of people apply. This is for fleet operators in England who want to switch to zero-emission vehicles. You need to provide 30% match funding yourself.

The Depot Charging Scheme supports uptake of zero-emission HGVs, vans and coaches by part-funding the installation of charging infrastructure at fleet depots.
