This trial explores whether Demand Turn Up (DTU) can reduce wasted renewable electricity in Great Britain. DTU means using flexible electricity demand to absorb surplus renewable power instead of switching it off. UK registered businesses that provide flexibility services can submit an expression of interest. Successful applicants at this stage can then apply for a share of up to £16 million in total funding.
