The Evaluation Accelerator Fund Phase 5 provides up to £3.5 million for research and evaluation projects. Projects must create evidence to inform government spending or policy decisions. You can also use the money to tackle evidence gaps in government priority areas. Projects must start in July 2026 and finish by March 2027. The deadline to apply is 28 June 2026. This is a competitive grant fund run by the Cabinet Office. Projects must last exactly one year.

The Evaluation Task Force is pleased to announce Phase 5 of its Evaluation Accelerator Fund (EAF). The EAF is a competitive grant fund and supports research and evaluation projects that: - create actionable evidence in HM Government priority areas that informs public spending or policy decisions; - tackle evidence gaps in HM Government priority areas; or - provide robust evidence of financial or efficiency savings from new policies, interventions, or innovative approaches to service delivery Funding is available for one-year projects which start in July 2026 and conclude by March 2027.
