This grant funds new MSK (musculoskeletal) Physical Activity Hubs in communities across England. The funding helps people with muscle, bone and joint problems stay active and healthy. One organisation will receive up to £2.75 million to design, set up and run these new hubs. The Department of Health and Social Care and Department for Work and Pensions are running this project together. They are holding virtual workshops to explain the grant before applications open. The deadline is 28 March 2026. This is part of a wider project to expand access to physical activity support for people with MSK conditions.

This grant is for organisations that can design, implement and deliver physical activity hubs for people with musculoskeletal conditions. You need experience in health services, community programmes or physical activity delivery. Only one organisation will be selected to run this large-scale project across England.

These will introduce and outline the upcoming Grant for an organisation to design, implement and deliver new MSK Hubs as part of the Expanding Access to Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physical Activity Hubs in the Community project.
