Farming Equipment and Technology Fund 2026 (FETF) (Animal Health and Welfare, Productivity and Slurry themes)

The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund 2026 helps farmers buy equipment to improve their farms. There are three types of grants: animal health and welfare, productivity, and slurry management. You can get between £1,000 and £25,000 for each theme. You can apply for more than one grant if the items suit your business. This is a competitive fund, so you might not get all the money you ask for. The application deadline is 28 April 2026. You must claim your funding by 20 January 2027 at midday.

This grant is for farmers in England who want to buy equipment to improve their farms. You can apply if you need items for animal health and welfare, productivity improvements, or better slurry management. The grant is delivered by the Rural Payments Agency.

The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2026 includes 3 grants to help you buy items to improve productivity, animal health and welfare, and make better use of slurry on farms. You can apply for more than one grant, for items that suit your business. FETF 2026 is competitive. You may not receive any, or all the funding you apply for. Successful applicants will receive a minimum of £1,000 and a maximum of £25,000 towards items in each of the three themes. The deadline for claims to be made for FETF 2026 is 20 January 2027 at midday.
