Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape Partnership and Landscape Trust Grants

Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape Grants Fund

Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape Partnership and Landscape Trust

The Arnside & Silverdale Grants Fund offers grants of up to £4,000 for projects that conserve, enhance or connect people to the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape. The National Landscape Partnership and the Landscape Trust run the fund together. The fund backs a wide range of work. A nature project might protect local plants and wildlife, restore or create habitat, help priority species, or improve understanding of ecological networks. You could also apply to improve the coast or seascape, or to restore cultural and historic features. People and place matter too. The fund supports projects that help more people access and enjoy the area, especially those who might not otherwise get the chance. It is also interested in sustainable tourism, appropriate recreation, and work that researches, interprets or celebrates the area's nature, history and culture. Projects that connect people with the landscape are welcome, particularly projects for children and young people. So are projects that promote traditional rural skills, involve local communities or volunteers, or help communities move towards sustainable low carbon living. To apply, email the team and ask for an application form. One important point: you must read the guidance notes before you apply. This helps you make sure your project meets the fund criteria. A list of example projects funded between 2016 and 2022 is also available if you want inspiration. Official source: https://www.arnside-silverdale.org.uk/grants/arnside-silverdale-grants-fund.
