The Bolton Housing Partnership Community Investment Grants fund projects that benefit customers of the Bolton Housing Partnership. The partnership is made up of several social landlords: Onward, Be One Homes, Clarion Housing, Places for People, Great Places Housing Group, Irwell Valley Homes and Mosscare St Vincents. Bolton CVS runs the programme on their behalf. Charities, community groups, organisations and individuals can all apply. Organisations can ask for up to £1,000. Individuals can apply for a micro-grant of up to £100. Your project must help people who are customers of these landlords. There is no closing date. The fund stays open while money is available, so you can apply at any time of year. Plan ahead. Bolton CVS received a high number of applications over Summer 2026, and decisions currently take around 12 to 14 weeks from the date you submit. The fund cannot pay for activities that have already taken place, even if you applied before they happened. Leave enough time between applying and starting your project. An independent panel of trained volunteer assessors decides which applications are funded. Bolton CVS staff run the programme but do not usually assess applications. The panel's decisions are final and there is no appeal or reconsideration process. You apply online through the Bolton CVS Grants Dashboard.
