Eric Wright Charitable Trust Small Groups Funding (Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde)

Community First Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde (Eric Wright Charitable Trust)

The Eric Wright Charitable Trust Small Groups Funding 2026-27 offers small grants for grassroots community projects in Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde. The programme is delivered by LACVS, supported by Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale CVS, and administered by Community First Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde. It backs projects that strengthen community cohesion, reduce social isolation and improve health and wellbeing. It also supports projects that help local people feel more connected, resilient and supported within their communities. Grants go up to £1,000, across three tiers. Grassroots grants of up to £250 are for un-constituted community groups working with Community First and the LACVS LOCAL project on community engagement activities or events. Community grants of up to £500 are for constituted community groups. Longer-term community grants of up to £1,000 are for constituted groups planning a project that runs for 12 weeks or longer. The fund suits small voluntary, community and faith sector organisations with an annual turnover of less than £30,000. There is no fixed deadline. Awards are made on a first come, first served basis, so once the money has gone, it's gone. If your project fits, it makes sense to apply early. If you would like help, Community First runs free 30-minute Funding Clinic appointments. You can book a virtual session on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 10am and 4pm. You can also book a face-to-face drop-in session in Blackpool or Fleetwood on selected dates. Bookings are requests only, so wait for your confirmation by email or text before you attend.
