Ashcourt Durham and Tees Valley Community Fund

GrantScape (funded by Ashcourt Group)

The Ashcourt Durham and Tees Valley Community Fund gives grants of between £5,000 and £25,000 to not-for-profit organisations for capital projects near Stonegrave Quarry in Newton Aycliffe. Ashcourt Group, a family-run supplier of construction materials and waste management solutions, provides the money through the Landfill Communities Fund. GrantScape runs the fund on their behalf. Around £145,000 is available each year. The fund pays for capital projects. These are projects that focus on physical improvement at one identified site. If you have a clear plan to improve a specific place, this fund could suit you. Your project must be located within 10 miles of Stonegrave Quarry. Priority goes to projects within 5 miles of the site. GrantScape publishes a map of the eligible funding area, so you can confirm your project sits inside the boundary before you start your application. The next round closes at midnight on 17 February 2027. Decisions are due by the end of April 2027. Build that wait into your project plans, as you will not know the outcome until around ten weeks after the closing date. One important caveat: projects that take place across multiple sites cannot be considered. If your plans cover more than one location, you will need to focus on a single site to be eligible.
