GrantScape (funded by Mick George Ltd) Grants

Mick George Community Fund

GrantScape (funded by Mick George Ltd)

The Mick George Community Fund offers grants of between £10,000 and £30,000 for community projects in parts of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Norfolk and Rutland. GrantScape runs the fund, and the money comes from Mick George Ltd through the Landfill Communities Fund. Around £200,000 is available each year. Your project must be near one of the donor's landfill sites or other waste treatment sites in the East Midlands and Anglian regions. The fund page has a map where you can enter your project postcode to see if it falls within the eligible area. The fund suits charities and community groups, sports clubs, parish, town and community councils, local authorities, and social enterprises or Community Interest Companies that do not distribute profits. Your total project cost must be less than £100,000. The next round closes at midnight on 3 March 2027, with decisions by the end of April 2027. There are two funding rounds each year. If you apply after a closing date, your application moves to the next round, if one is available. Be ready before you apply. You must own the project site or hold a lease with at least five years left, and the lease must already be active. Draft leases and letters of intent are not accepted. You also need all consents in place, such as planning permission, and any other funding the project needs must already be secured. Applications still waiting for consent approval will not be accepted. Official source: https://grantscape.org.uk/fund/mick-george-community-fund/. Last checked by GrantMatch on 28 October 2026.
