Clifton Neighbourhood Board is offering capital grants to improve the community spaces and places in Clifton where events and activities happen. The money comes from its Pride in Place Programme. It aims to help local voluntary and community organisations run more inclusive, more frequent and better quality community activities. The grant pays for small to medium scale improvements to spaces and places, equipment and activity infrastructure. Examples include digital equipment for community engagement, employment or skills activities. It also covers improvements to public spaces or community venues, better access to or security for venues, and large equipment that lets you run extra or improved events. You can apply for between £1,000 and £30,000 per venue or space. Equipment only grants range from £1,000 to £5,000. Equipment means portable items, such as laptops, indoor or outdoor furniture or play equipment. Improvement only grants range from £1,000 to £30,000. An improvement is a permanent change, such as new doors and windows, solar panels, a new boiler, a pond or better accessibility. You can combine both in one project, but the total cannot be more than £30,000. The limits apply to each venue or space, not to each organisation. If you look after more than one venue or space, you can apply for each one. There is only one stage, so you send a full application straight away. The closing date is 23:59 on Sunday 22 November 2026. Bear in mind that this is capital funding. Your project needs to focus on physical improvements, equipment or activity infrastructure within the Clifton Neighbourhood Board area.
