Nottinghamshire County Council Grants

Nottinghamshire Councillors' Divisional Fund

Nottinghamshire County Council

The Councillors' Divisional Fund is run by Nottinghamshire County Council. It gives every County Councillor £3,000 to spend on projects, people and organisations in their area. If you have a local cause that could do with some help, this fund lets you ask your own councillor for support. It suits local projects, individuals and organisations with a worthy cause in Nottinghamshire. Councillors can use it for projects, for people and for organisations, so it is not limited to one type of applicant. To ask for help, you get in touch with your County Councillor. The £3,000 is the total each councillor has to spend. It is not a fixed award for each applicant. The council publishes reports showing how each councillor has spent their fund. The latest covers 1 April 2026 to 3 October 2026, and earlier reports go back to 1 April 2019. Looking through them is a good way to see the kinds of projects, people and organisations that have had support. One practical point: the council has revised its policy and guidance on the fund, and it is linked from the fund page. Read it before you contact your councillor so you know the current rules.
