Overview
The Green Health & Wellbeing Programme from the Community Foundation for Surrey helps strengthen nature-based health and wellbeing services across Surrey. It works through grant funding, collaboration and shared learning. It suits charities and community groups, along with other voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations. The Foundation does not fund the public sector or private companies. The fund is open for Expressions of Interest now. The deadline for these is 5pm on 9 November 2026. All Expressions of Interest received before the deadline are considered together, and the strongest are invited to make a full application. If you are invited, the deadline for your full application is 5pm on 18 January 2027. The Foundation will let applicants know its decisions in the week of 29 March 2027. One practical point to keep in mind. This is a two-stage process, so an Expressions of Interest is not a full application, and not every group will be invited to go further. The Foundation now takes applications through an online system called Plinth. It also offers online Q&A sessions and FAQs, which can help you check that you are eligible before you send anything in.
