Full details from Groundwork London (funded by NHS Greenwich Charitable Funds)
The Greenwich Healthier Communities Fund, set up by NHS Greenwich Charitable Funds with the South East London Integrated Care Board and the Healthier Greenwich Partnership and managed by Groundwork London, funds projects that prevent or respond to health inequalities in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, in line with the Greenwich Health and Wellbeing Strategy. Phase 3 is open with five strands: Enabling grants (£500 to £5,000 for capacity building and one-off purchases such as training or equipment) and Micro grants (£500 to £5,000 for small projects), both awarded on a rolling basis; and Delivery grants: Small (£5,001 to £20,000, up to 12 months), Medium (£20,001 to £50,000, up to 18 months, on a priority theme: learning disabilities and autism, tackling isolation, long-term health conditions, or active healthy living for children and young people) and Large (£50,001 to £100,000, up to 24 months, for health outcomes of people with learning disabilities or autism, with partnership working). You can only hold one live grant from the fund at a time. An accessibility pot of up to £2,000 per applicant helps people who need support to apply. All strands close on 14 December 2026.
Read the programme prospectus and the strand guidance on Groundwork London's Greenwich Healthier Communities Fund page, then open the strand you want from the table and apply through its link before 14 December 2026 (enabling and micro grants are awarded as applications come in, so apply early). If you need help to apply, request the accessibility pot first. There is an in-person workshop on 4 November 2026 at ClockHouse Community Centre, Woolwich. Questions go to GreenwichHealthierCommunities@Groundwork.org.uk or 0207 239 1286.
