Leverhulme Doctoral Scholarships

This grant helps UK universities bring senior professors from overseas to share new expertise. The visiting professor must bring skills that are rare or missing in UK research. Universities can get £10,000 to £150,000 for visits lasting 3 to 12 months. The money covers the professor's salary, travel, and accommodation costs. Only UK universities can apply for this funding. Applications must be submitted by 1 May 2026. The visiting professor should enhance teaching and research in underrepresented areas. This is ideal for universities wanting to strengthen specific research fields.
