Liverpool Grassroots Music Venues Support Programme

This pilot closed at noon on 13 February 2026. It offered grants up to £3,000 for up to six live-music nights, alongside advice and mentoring. Performance delivery was due by 1 May and recommended development activity by 3 July 2026; those were delivery dates, not application deadlines. Independent venues and promoters based and operating within Liverpool City Council boundaries. Priority went to venues below 300 capacity and emerging venues showcasing local original music. Applicants needed solvency, appropriate policies and compliance; council arrears and membership of a larger corporate group were exclusions. The published pilot deadline has passed.
