Overview

This grant funds the creation of materials research networks that bring together researchers and industry. You can get up to £1.15 million to coordinate a community around materials innovation themes. The themes must align with the National Materials Innovation Strategy. You must be based at a UK research organisation that can receive EPSRC funding. The deadline is 27 May 2026. The network will connect research and industrial stakeholders in materials science. This is for establishing coordination networks, not individual research projects.
