Materials Innovation Programme Coordination Network Pluses (Grant)

This grant funds the creation of materials research networks that bring together researchers and industry. You can get up to £1.15 million to coordinate a community around materials innovation themes. The themes must align with the National Materials Innovation Strategy. You must be based at a UK research organisation that can receive EPSRC funding. The deadline is 27 May 2026. The network will connect research and industrial stakeholders in materials science. This is for establishing coordination networks, not individual research projects.

This grant is for UK research organisations and universities that can receive EPSRC funding. You need to be able to coordinate a network of researchers and industry partners in materials science. This is not for individual businesses or researchers working alone.

Apply for funding to establish a materials focused Network Plus, that coordinates a community of research and industrial stakeholders around one of four identified themes aligned to the National Materials Innovation Strategy (NMIS). You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for EPSRC funding.
