Mode Shift Revenue Support helps companies switch from road transport to rail or inland waterways for freight. The grant covers extra operating costs when rail or water transport costs more than road transport. You can get between £5,000 and £20 million. The deadline is 7 July 2026. This funding is available in England and Wales. You must be moving freight by rail or inland waterways instead of using roads. The grant only covers the difference in costs between transport methods.
