Full details from North Warwickshire Borough Council

North Warwickshire Borough Council's Prosperity Fund is a £2 million grant programme for 2026 to 2028 for community, business and local development projects that benefit residents of North Warwickshire. Projects must support at least one of the council's priorities: an efficient and sustainable council; safe, liveable, locally focused communities; prosperous, active and healthy; and sustainable growth with protected rurality. There is no minimum or maximum grant, and money can be for capital or revenue. Businesses can apply but must provide match funding and show a clear community benefit, and cannot use the grant for existing staff or routine running costs. The fund does not pay for staffing costs, general operating or contingency costs, reclaimable VAT, gifts, statutory duties, debts, party political or exclusively religious activity, or retrospective spending. Grant recipients can make one further application in a different financial year. A panel of councillors meets quarterly; the next application deadline is 13 November 2026 (panel 3 December), then 19 February 2027 and further dates to November 2027, until the money is spent. Projects must be completed by 31 March 2028.

How to apply

Read the guidance notes and the sample application form on the council's Prosperity Fund page, contact a council officer first (general enquiries: communities@northwarks.gov.uk), then complete the online form. Projects that may need planning permission should get pre-application advice first. Deadlines are quarterly (13 November 2026, 19 February 2027, 4 June 2027, 20 August 2027 and 12 November 2027), and applicants hear within 10 working days of each panel. Goods need two quotes up to £29,999 and three above £30,000.
