You can apply for a share of up to £30 million for collaborative discovery projects. The money comes from the Ofgem Strategic Innovation Fund. Projects must meet specific Innovation Challenges set by Ofgem. This is for discovery phase work, which means early-stage research and development. You must work with other organisations as part of a collaboration. The funding is exclusive of VAT. Applications close on 24 June 2026. This is Round 5, Discovery Cycle 6 of the programme.
