Residential and Nursing Care Home Accreditation Process

Nottingham City Council offers contracts to care home providers in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County. You can apply if you run residential care homes, nursing homes, or continuing healthcare services for adults over 18. This is an ongoing accreditation process, not a grant with set funding amounts. You can join the process at any time throughout the year. The council will assess your services and facilities. If approved, you can provide care services under contract with the council. You may also be able to offer NHS-funded continuing healthcare placements.

This is for organisations that run care homes or provide continuing healthcare services for adults over 18. You must operate in Nottingham City or Nottinghamshire County. This is not for individual carers or home care services.

Organisations opening a care home within the Nottingham City or Nottinghamshire County region, or providing continuing healthcare services for adults over 18, can apply for a contract with Nottingham City Council and for NHS-funded Continuing Healthcare placements. This is an ongoing accreditation process that providers can join at any time.
