Full details from Foundation Scotland (RWE Bowbeat Wind Farm)

The RWE Bowbeat Wind Farm (Innerleithen) Community Fund, run by Foundation Scotland, supports community projects benefiting the Innerleithen and District Community Council area in the Scottish Borders. About £52,000 a year is ring-fenced for Innerleithen until the wind farm's expected end in 2030. The fund aims to improve community life through better facilities, services, environment, activities and opportunities, and can pay for equipment, staff or sessional workers, consultations, running costs, and maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities. One-year grants are from £1,000 to £5,000; up to £10,000 or multi-year grants may be considered in exceptional cases after talking to Foundation Scotland. Requests under £1,000 go to the community council's micro grant scheme. A local panel decides twice a year. Round 2 closes on 11 January 2027, with decisions in mid-March 2027.
