The Scale-Up Catalyst Pilot is a highly selective programme for the UK's highest-growth potential scale-up businesses. The Department for Business and Trade will fund one lead delivery partner up to £3.4 million. This partner will provide expert account management, high-quality group activities, and connections to founders, investors, and specialist talent. The programme tests an intensive support model for accelerating scale-ups. The deadline is 6 July 2026. This is for delivery partners who can support scale-up businesses, not for the scale-ups themselves.
Key requirements:
- Must be able to act as lead delivery partner
- Must provide expert account management
- Must deliver high-quality cohort activities
- Must provide curated connections to investors and talent
This grant is for organisations that can act as delivery partners to support scale-up businesses. You need to be able to provide expert account management, run group activities, and connect scale-ups to investors and talent. This is not for scale-up businesses themselves.
