Overview

The Big Lincolnshire Welcome Fund helps displaced Ukrainian individuals and families in Lincolnshire feel welcomed and settled in their new communities. It is run by Lincolnshire Community Foundation. It pays for essential items that are not already covered by national or local government. These might include household appliances for setting up a new home, kitchen equipment to prepare familiar dishes, or a bicycle with a helmet and lock for getting to work or school. Each grant is based on your own needs, and every application is looked at on its own merits. You can ask for up to £150 as an individual or up to £300 as a family unit. This is a rolling scheme, so you can apply now. It stays open until the funds have been allocated. The fund suits Ukrainian refugees who hold a Homes for Ukraine Visa or a Ukraine Family Scheme Visa, arrived in Lincolnshire after 24 February 2022 and currently live in the county. If the person is under 18, an adult must complete the form for them. One thing to know before you apply: funding is limited, and you can only apply if you have not had support from the fund before. Cash awards, food vouchers, retrospective purchases and gifts for others cannot be funded. Applications are reviewed weekly, and extra checks may apply.
