The Money and Pensions Service is offering grants between £25,000 and £100,000 to improve free debt advice services in England. You must have already received MaPS Debt Advice Modernisation or Transformation funding before to apply. The fund pays for projects that build on what has already worked, such as adopting better tools or ways of working. It does not fund new or exploratory ideas. The deadline to apply is 19 August 2026.

The Debt Advice Modernisation and Transformation Fund 2026/27 provides grant funding to organisations that have previously received MaPS Debt Advice Modernisation or Transformation funding to help build on and scale proven approaches to improving debt advice services. The fund supports projects that enhance the quality, efficiency and sustainability of free-to-client debt advice across England, including the adoption of effective tools, models or ways of working.
