Together for Service Families Place-based grants programme

The place-based programme closed to new expressions of interest at noon UK time on 19 August 2026. It offered portfolio grants of up to £350,000 over up to three and a half years, including an initial development phase, to reduce the effects of separation and relocation on serving families. The January 2027 second-stage deadline is for invited applicants. UK charities registered for at least three years with substantial recent armed forces experience, and local authorities, could lead a local portfolio in partnership with other organisations. Delivery had to take place in the UK. Locations already funded at Helensburgh, Hereford/Brecon and Lossiemouth/Kinloss were excluded. New expressions of interest are closed. Only invited applicants should prepare a second-stage application, due at noon UK time on 20 January 2027. The separately listed open programme has different criteria and limits.
