Transport Research and Innovation Grants (TRIG) fund innovative transport projects. You can get between £1,000 and £45,000 to develop ideas that make transport safer, greener, more accessible, or more resilient. The Department for Transport runs this scheme with Connected Places Catapult. The deadline is 5 June 2026. Projects must be based in England. You could use the money to research new transport technologies or test innovative solutions. The grant aims to shape the future of the UK's transport network.
