You can get between £5,000 and £1,740,000 to cover the extra costs of using boats, barges or ships instead of lorries. The grant is available if water transport costs more than road transport for your business. You must be moving freight in England or Scotland. The deadline to apply is 7 July 2026. This grant helps reduce road traffic and supports greener transport options.
