The Youth Climate Action Fund gives young people aged 15 to 24 money to lead practical environmental projects in the West Midlands. Projects must focus on at least one of four themes: air quality, circular economy, climate adaptation, or nature. Grants range from £1,000 to £2,500. At least two young people aged 15 to 24 must propose, design, and lead the project. Your project must be based and delivered within the West Midlands Combined Authority area, covering Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, and Wolverhampton. The deadline to apply is 25 September 2026.

This fund is for young people aged 15 to 24 who want to lead a climate or environmental project in the West Midlands. Youth-led groups, youth-serving organisations, and sponsor organisations such as schools, museums, and community groups can all apply.
