Aberdeenshire Council's Garioch Area Initiatives Fund offers grants of up to £2,000 to communities across Garioch for projects that deliver healthier, stronger and empowered, or connected communities. It is open to constituted community organisations and council services, and applicants must provide at least 50% match funding. Projects must show wide community benefit, must not start before funding is approved, and must be completed by February 2027. Applications are considered on a first come, first served basis. Funding from the Garioch Area Committee budget or local Common Good Funds can only be accessed once in any three year period.
