Grants to organisations for initiatives that reduce poverty, improve health, tackle social inequality, and help people reach their potential, or for projects that nurture a sense of place or promote climate action for local people in Altrad Babcock’s employee residence areas of Allerdale, Barrow, Carlisle and Copeland. Donor Altrad Babcock Limited Who can apply? • charitable, not-for-profit organisations Examples of projects supported: • DIY equipment for Men in Sheds • astro-turf rebound boards for a community sports ground • coaching costs for members of a junior cricket club What the Fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions: • individuals How much can you apply for? Grants will normally be up to £1,000 over one year.
