Ambition North Wales 4G+ Industry Grant Scheme - EOI

This grant supports the rollout of 4G and 5G mobile network infrastructure in parts of North Wales with poor or no signal. It is aimed at mobile network operators and infrastructure providers, not general businesses. Funding of up to £1,000,000 is available per application. The scheme targets areas where commercial investment alone would not make the project viable. You must submit an Expression of Interest by 7 August 2026.

It is specifically for projects in areas with little or no existing mobile signal, where commercial investment alone would not cover the cost. The Ambition North Wales 4G+ Industry Grant Scheme provides subsidies to mobile network operators and infrastructure providers to support the deployment and upgrade of 4G and 5G infrastructure in underserved Total Not Spot and Partial Not Spot areas across North Wales, helping to improve mobile coverage and capacity where commercial investment alone is not viable.
