Grants of up to £3,000 a year (around £1,000 on average) from The Charity Service for registered charities, constituted community groups and voluntary organisations helping disadvantaged, sick or disabled people or people in poverty in Greater Manchester, with priority for preventing homelessness, reducing social isolation and supporting vulnerable families and children. Project, capital and core costs can be funded. The focus is on community-rooted organisations with volunteers, at least three years of activity and annual spending of no more than £1 million. Bids over £1,000 go to the grants committee, which next meets on 18 December 2026, with a further deadline on 5 February 2027. Applications close on 27 November 2026 (4pm).
