Christine Carter Creative Arts Fund

Bursaries of up to £250 from the Christine Carter Creative Arts Fund, run by Point North, for artists and creative practitioners in County Durham and Sunderland who face financial hardship and are starting creative training, developing their career or studies, working towards arts for social change, or from an under-represented or marginalised group. Art materials, essential course or work equipment, accredited non-degree training, books and travel to training can all be funded. Applications need verification from a named sponsor such as a teacher, tutor, careers adviser or support worker. Higher education fees, course fees over £2,000 and past purchases are not covered. There is no fixed deadline, so you can apply at any time while funds last.
