Full details from CVSC (RWE Clocaenog Forest Wind Farm)
The Clocaenog Forest Wind Farm Fund, paid by RWE's Clocaenog Forest onshore wind farm (about £768,000 a year, index linked, over £19 million over its lifetime), supports communities in the rural area of Conwy and Denbighshire. It is administered by Community and Voluntary Support Conwy (CVSC), with decisions made by a panel of people who live, work or volunteer in the area of benefit. Small community grants of up to £10,000 are open now; large community grants and the business fund are closed, though zone 1 groups with projects over £10,000 can contact the grants team. The fund's themes are prosperous communities, health and wellbeing, the economy, conservation and the environment, and digital, in line with the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act.
Download the guidelines and the small grants application form from CVSC's Clocaenog Forest Wind Farm Fund apply page. CVSC prefers an initial conversation: contact esylltadair@cvsc.org.uk, grants@cvsc.org.uk or 01492 523855. The grants panel makes all decisions and its decision is final.
