The Duchy Health Charity's Building Community fund is the first call under its new Community Resilience strategy, with £150,000 available. It offers up to £25,000 for legally constituted organisations and up to £10,000 for informally constituted groups, for projects of up to 24 months that help people connect, build supportive networks and feel they belong, for example by reducing isolation, bringing new members into communities or helping people prepare for severe weather. Communities of place, interest, faith or shared experience all count. Multigenerational projects and those reaching people at greater risk of loneliness are of particular interest. All beneficiaries must live in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly. There is a light-touch expression of interest by midnight on 22 November 2026, and invited full applications are due by midnight on 31 January 2027.
