Full details from East Suffolk Council
East Suffolk Council's Enabling Communities Budgets let ward councillors fund local projects with clear community benefit that start new activity to fill a gap or grow existing activity. Grants run from £100 to £7,500 and can cover all project costs or sit alongside match funding. Examples include play equipment, village hall improvements and equipment, one-off community events, new initiatives in their start-up phase, support for disabled people and carers, defibrillators and youth activities. Budgets from several councillors can be pooled for projects covering more than one ward. Applications are made through your ward councillor and accepted all year.
Complete and sign the Enabling Communities Budget application form on the East Suffolk Council guidance page and send it to your local ward councillor, who completes their section and forwards it to the council. Send event applications at least three weeks before the start date.
