Epping Forest District Council's Community Fund, made possible by local technology partner Google, invests in practical projects that respond to local needs. It supports projects that build employment skills, improve access to opportunities and services, reduce isolation and disadvantage, strengthen communities or bring new solutions to local problems. Projects supporting young people, families under pressure, people facing economic hardship, older residents and people facing extra barriers are particularly encouraged. Applicants take an eligibility quiz and are then directed to the small or large grant form; decisions come within four months. Large grants of £15,000 to £250,000 are for strategic and multi-year initiatives; the next submission date is 4 December 2026 for the January 2027 panel, then 5 March and 4 June 2027.
