This grant funds research into human disease causes, progression and treatment. You must include an intervention in humans as part of your research. The funding can be up to £10 million. You need to be a researcher at an organisation eligible for MRC funding. New researchers transitioning to independence can also apply. The deadline is 15 April 2026. This is for academic researchers, not businesses or charities.
