Falkirk Council's Community Choices is a ward based participatory budgeting programme. Third sector charities and community groups can apply for up to £5,000 for projects and activities in one of Falkirk's nine electoral wards, and residents aged 16 and over then vote for the projects they want funded. Past winners include youth and sports programmes, arts projects, mental health and wellbeing work, support for older people and community equipment. Applications for Phase 7 close on 9 November 2026; public voting runs from 18 January to 12 February 2027 and winning projects start from April 2027.
